LoveLeigh Necklaces, Glam Box, LoveLeigh Springtime Affair and more....

Hi there LoveLeighs :)

Well there are so many things going on here behind the scenes!! For example I have organised for two photoshoots for October, one which will be a LoveLeigh Springtime Affair.....where there will be some LoveLeigh pieces for your hair and body for the races, weddings and special occassions that often occur around the end of the year.



The second is for the Glam Box. I know I said this will be opening very soon but I have decided to wait until the end of October beginning of November. This Glam Box will be filled with all sorts of LoveLeighs that you can wear to Christmas parties, NYE parties or any fab time that you may be having during the silly season :)



The LoveLeigh Goodies Nights (and there have only been two) seem to be appealing so from time to time I will do these. I will also have LoveLeigh Necklace releases as these seem to be VERY popular and I LOVE to make them. I do LOVE to do custom orders but I have only limited spaces....I will announce these from time to time so if you see I have space and you desperately want or need something jump in quick because these fill so fast!!! Behind the scenes my very talented brother is working very hard on building a super fab website, a new logo and my photoshoots!! I will keep you informed of when the website will be ready to go :)

Lastly.....I have made the decision to pull out of The Collective Store and the Artisan Boutique. I want to thank Leonie (TCS) and Kylie (AB) for their constant support of LoveLeigh Designs and I will always support and promote this most FANTASTIC stores!!!!

When I woke up this morning I thought I am going to Blog!! So I did, but this is not what I originally wrote. You see I wrote a little piece on the sadness and disappointment I feel about the women on FB and the nastiness that continues between grown-ups. But after a long-winded piece I decided to delete, because, let's face it I know you are all as fed up as I am with the in-fighting and nit-picking.

Then this afternoon I read a link from Build a Little Biz about death threats to an amazing female blogger!!! You can read the blog here http://ittybiz.com/death-threats-online/ and I was MORE than shocked I was sad!!! Ok so obviously there will always be 'people' who will try and bring you down, especially if they see you as a threat. Mostly these 'people' are insecure and unsure of who they really are and feel the need to be nasty as a way to compensate for their own inadequacies. But death threats is just plain crazy. I mean do these people really want to kill this woman because she is so successful?? And then live the rest of their life in jail??  It seems to me that there IS a LOT more nasty behaviour because you can sit in the comfort of your own home and blurt out whatever you like with little or no consequence to you. But you are an influence on others. You are RESPONSIBLE for what you say and HOW you say it!!

This is the second time I have heard of death threats to a woman who is successful by another who for whatever reason feels they need to dish it out on them.

Bully's don't win when we stand united against them!!! NEVER be afraid!!! After all we all have a SPAM box in our email accounts and a DELETE button and the police are only a phone call away!!!

Oh and one other thing....as a customer and a small business owner it may be best to RISE ABOVE the small, nasty behaviour of others and not engage in it. I have seen SO many pages losing good business and regular customers because they are slugging it out on their page.....and to be honest it is getting a little old. Most of us have kids and have to deal with their petty arguments everyday and then to get on FB and see 'grown' women slagging each other off is more than a little embarrassing.

'Nuff said!! (hopping down off my soapbox now hehehehe)

LoveLeigh Designs - Giveaway Necklace

Well it has taken me most of the morning to get this Blog sorted but here we are :D No machine will STOP this WOMAN hahahaha.....
Last time I blogged was 12 months ago which was also the first time I blogged....LOL!! Needless to say A WHOLE LOT of stuff has happened since then....but I will save all of that for another blog!!

I am very proud of my little LLD....I now have over 1000 likers on FB and stock LoveLeighs in two wonderful stores and am bombarded with emails and custom orders all the time!! So to celebrate the 1000 'likers' I am giving away one of my gorgeous necklaces!!!

I LOVE this necklace....I think it is slammin' I mean what's not to love about a pretty you can wear with your LBD and HOT heels, or to work in a corporate suit or casually with jeans and a tee???
