You know that saying that there is a light at the end of every dark tunnel? Well finally the light is starting to shine at the end of mine. Over the last two years many things in my life have changed. Some have been heartbreaking and now when I look back I see that I have become a stronger more confident person because of that heartbreak. I think you can either look at things and think I can't believe that has happened to ME! Or you can look at it and think ok so that happened and I feel sad/happy/relieved/blue etc. but now what? Will I sit here and think well what's the point or will I look at it and think I am strong enough to go through this and come out the other side with a new look at life! And I am happy to say that I am the latter of those two.
In this last year you have not seen a lot of LoveLeighs coming out because I have lost several family members which had me turn my life completely around. I am now fitter, stronger and healthier. I have a new outlook on life. I actually feel FEARLESS for the first time in my life!! Funny how I took the things that broke my heart and turned them around to become more positive about life!
So where is this going, well life is so short that I have decided to live my life doing the things I love and I love to create beautiful things. Did you know that I have NO experience, I have NOT studied, this is just me working it out. Yes I do have an eye for textures and colours, and there is nothing I make for you that I would not wear myself! If it is NOT good enough for me then it will NEVER be good enough for you :) Everything that comes out of this studio is straight from my mind to you. Made by me, from the beading to most of the flowers. They are original and unique and very special to me!
While I was away I received many messages from so many customers and other business ladies asking where I had been and that you all missed seeing LoveLeighs pop up in your Facebook newsfeed. Well I promise to LoveLeigh up those newsfeeds as much as I can from here on in.
I can't thank you all enough for supporting LoveLeigh Designs. I feel very lucky :)
